Description
A pair of baby sparrows in flight.
The sparrow is an auspicious symbol in many cultures, often representing spring, happiness, and companionship. In Chinese culture, the sparrow is used as a lucky, decorative element in many traditional paintings, ornaments, and furniture items. In the Christian faith, sparrows illustrate the extent of divine love and providence.
Baby Sparrows are also available as a set with the larger Sparrow from our Standard collection.
Artist's note
This rendition is based off Hokusai's paintings of sparrows.
