A duo of butterflies.
Chinese culture regards the butterfly as a symbol of grace and romanticism. The legend of the tragic love story, The Butterfly Lovers or Liang Zhu, is one of China's Four Great Folktales, in which the butterfly symbolizes an undying bond between lovers.
Artist's note
These butterflies were inspired by decorative motifs on imperial robes and ceramics from the Qing Dynasty.

This product is a pair of two unique butterflies.
Dimensions: approximately 110mm H x 50mm W (top butterfly) and 50mm H x 65mm W (bottom butterfly)
