Description
After creating our first collection of embroidered patches, we started thinking about embroidered patches in sticker form. We like the versatility of stickers - multiple pieces, the smaller size being able to fit contours, the ease of affixing to varied surfaces, and the unique texture given to an item enjoyed by all ages.
Artist's note
These stickers were designed to be of various pieces, to encourage free arrangement, so that no two compositions will be identical. Maple leaves are a representation of fall, in typical colours of red, orange, and yellow. They are a season-setting element used often in Japanese tattooing. The many pieces in this design can be used to convey motion.
